Inclusive Learning Mission

By Liyana Kadhiri

Liyana Kadhiri is a linguist, educator, and Teach For India Fellow whose work in government schools shaped her commitment to building more inclusive learning spaces. With experience as an AI and language trainer working with learners of all ages, she brings a deep understanding of how language, cognition, and diverse learning needs shape academic success.

She founded ILM – Inclusive Learning Mission in 2023, initially training over 200 learners in UGC NET Linguistics and Paper 1. What began as a small learning initiative has now grown into a platform dedicated to inclusive education, linguistic excellence, and accessible skill-based learning for students, parents, and educators.

Through ILM, Liyana aims to bridge learning gaps using research-based strategies, modern AI tools, multilingual sensitivity, and culturally responsive practices — creating a learning ecosystem where every learner feels supported, capable, and seen.

What is ILM ?

ILM – Inclusive Learning Mission is a learning platform designed to bridge academic gaps, support diverse learners, and make quality education accessible to every student, parent, and educator. Rooted in principles of linguistics, Universal Design for Learning (UDL), cognitive science, and inclusive pedagogy, ILM offers structured courses, PYQ-based bootcamps, AI literacy programs, and specialised learning modules for children with learning difficulties and neurodivergent needs.

What began as a small initiative in 2023 teaching UGC NET Linguistics and Paper 1 has now evolved into a holistic mission committed to educational equity. ILM empowers learners with clear, research-backed strategies, multilingual sensitivity, and practical tools that can be applied in real classrooms and real homes.

At its core, ILM stands for learning without barriers—a space where every learner is understood, supported, and given the opportunity to succeed.

Our Vision

To build an India where every learner- regardless of language, ability, or background-has equal access to meaningful, inclusive, and culturally responsive education.
ILM envisions classrooms where diversity is recognised as strength, multilingualism is celebrated, learning disabilities are identified without stigma, and every child, parent, and educator feels empowered with the tools to thrive

Essence of ILM
At its core, ILM stands for equity, empathy, and empowerment. We work to bridge the gap between learners’ needs and the system’s expectations—creating pathways where every individual can learn, grow, and belong.
